Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Season 2, Episode 30: Mirror of Regret

Previously on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers , Adam was bummed out because he didn’t have a date for the Vice-Versa dance.   He would soon meet a new girl at the school and take her out to the park.   She was revealed to be Scorpina, and the Power Rangers fought her once again.   They got the Ultra Thunderzord together to fight both Scorpina and Goldar, but the henchmen fled before they could be defeated.   The episode ended with Adam going to the dance alone, only to be approached by one of the female volleyball players.   He found the date he wanted. Now we’re onto another episode with another adventure.   The episode is called Mirror of Regret , which makes me think it’s a Kimberly episode.   She’s the character that I would most expect to be associated with a mirror.   I hope it’s not though.   I would like it to be another episode where the non-fighting storyline is about one of the new characters.   Let’s get to know them a little better, you know?   Anyway, it’s time to

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Season 2, Episode 29: Goldar's Vice-Versa

When we last left Mighty Morphin Power Rangers , the team was shaken up.   Jason, Zack, and Trini left for the World Peace Conference and were replaced by Rocky, Adam, and Aisha.   They were immediately thrown into a battle against Silver Horns and Serpentera.   Things turned out fine.   Angel Grove was saved and the Power Rangers lived on. Now we have come to the new era of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers .   The transition started back when Tommy got his White Ranger powers.   He was the new leader of the team, and around that time, the show began to phase out Jason, Zack and Trini.   Now that whole section of the story is behind us.   We’re moving forward with a new team.   What will this new team bring?   I’m not sure.   I’ve enjoyed the three newer characters so far, but they haven’t had any storylines to themselves.   They’ve always just been the people needing to be saved, or the friends of the Power Rangers who were willing to help.   We’ll get to see them in action as

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Alpha's Magical Christmas

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was all about fights.   The Power Rangers fought putties.   They fought monsters.   They took their Zords and made them into a giant robot man to fight giant monsters.   But the show also liked to let us in on the characters’ lives.   It started slow on that front, giving little to no information on Trini, and basic stuff on the others.   Jason and Tommy were good at martial arts.   Billy was a nerd.   Zack liked hip-hop and there was a girl in school that he liked.   When Rocky, Adam, and Aisha came into the show, they each got to showcase the non-fighting side of their characters. Someone who never got as much focus was Alpha-5.   He hung around the Command Centre, freaking out over everything.   Rarely did he get storylines beyond that.   This episode will change that.   The Christmas special, which was produced during the second season, highlights Alpha as he does some caroling with children.   I’ve never seen this special.   I’m writing thi
