Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Season 3, Episode 17: A Ranger Catastrophe, Part I

Last time we left off with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers , Christmas was in the air.   There was a Christmas party going on at Angel Grove Youth Centre.   Rita and Zedd tried to get Santa to send out toys that would hypnotize the children of Earth, but the Power Rangers put a stop to it.   Kimberly’s mom and stepdad visited.   It was a happy little self-contained thing that was released as a special before the season began and originally aired after Kimberly had left the show.   The scheduling was weird. Now it’s time for a multi-episode story.   The show usually ends up being stronger with bigger stories like this, so there’s a lot to look forward to with this one.   And based on the title, it looks like something big is about to happen.   Something catastrophic, even.   What will it be?   I don’t know, but I’m sure to find out when I watch… Season 3, Episode 17: A Ranger Catastrophe, Part I Aisha and Kimberly were strolling through the park when they found a lost cat

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Season 3, Episode 16: I'm Dreaming of a White Ranger

Previously on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers , love was in the air.   A monster was sent down from the moon to rain love potion on the people of Angel Grove.   Skull got his shot with Kimberly.   Bulk and Aisha had something going.   All this happened while Rita and Zedd were on a second honeymoon.   It ended with a dance that everyone from Angel Grove attended. Next up is a Christmas episode that should clearly be focused on Tommy.   That means that, like the previous episode, Kimberly should play a pivotal role.   How can she not in a Tommy episode?   They’re in a relationship.   We’ll see just how much of a role she has to play in… Season 3, Episode 16: I’m Dreaming of a White Ranger Christmas came to Angel Grove.   A party was being set up at the Angel Grove Youth Center.   The teens were in charge, with Aisha leading a choir of children while Kimberly played guitar.   One of the girls in the choir was sad because her father wasn’t around for the holidays.   She got

First Time Watches: October 2018

I’m eight months behind on these posts right now, soon to be nine.   That’s why I made a vow to myself to have this one done by the end of the month.   That’s four days away, five if you count today.   Today is mostly gone, though. Welcome to another in my long line of first time watches posts.   This one will be covering the month of October 2018, which wasn’t too busy a month for my viewing new movies.   I spent most of the month revisiting horror movies that I enjoy watching because it was spooky season.   A few first time watches slipped in.   Seven of them, in fact.   And I’ll be taking a quick look at them. What kind of movies will I be writing about?   One of them was a new sequel to an old slasher that ignored the other sequels.   One of them was a new twist on a classic teen party game.   There was a comedy special and a western mixed with serial killer horror.   It was as interesting a month as any and it’s about time that we got to the movies.   Don’t you think?
