The Walking Dead - A Double Meaning?

I have had a ritual for the past two years.   Every Sunday night for a month and a half period, I would tune into a channel called AMC to watch a show called The Walking Dead.   This show is about a group of survivors living through a zombie apocalypse and all the trouble that this brings into the world.   It was a big hit for AMC and I have been sure to watch each episode the night it aired.   That is how invested I am in some of the characters.   Before I get into anything here, I should go to the beginning. The Walking Dead is based upon a monthly comic book of the same name.   The comic began in 2003.   It was written by Robert Kirkman and is still written by Robert Kirkman.   The plot is essentially the same as the television show in a vague sense.   The specifics differ.   Anyway, come 2010, Frank Darabont teamed up with Robert Kirkman to bring the comic book to television and AMC allowed them to make the show.   That is w...

Power Rangers Zeo: Episode 13: Mean Screen

In the previous episode of Power Rangers Zeo , Adam tried to get to the bottom of mystery music at Angel Grove High. He discovered that the mystery musician was Skull, who was a terrific piano player. Skull didn’t want people to know, though, because he thought they would make fun of him. Adam convinced him to perform in the school’s talent show and everyone loved it. Now it’s time for something a little bit different. There won’t be any Skull playing the piano. That was a one-episode thing. Instead, there will be something related to a screen. So, either a computer or a television. I say that because the bad guys are The Machine Empire and those are machines. I could be wrong, but they seem like good guesses. Power Rangers Zeo: Episode 14: Mr. Billy's Wild Ride

The last time I wrote one of these posts was four and a half years ago. It was an episode about a monster infecting Angel Grove with computer viruses. The computers were down. The Zords were down. The teenagers with attitude enlisted the help of a tutor or teacher to give them an antivirus that cleared everything up. It ended with Billy saying he was returning to Earth from Aquitar and The Machine Empire vowing to stop that. Next up is an episode that I’m sure will be all about Billy trying to get back to Earth and Angel Grove. It will showcase the struggles he was up against as The Machine Empire tried to stop his return. You see, they want to break up the team because the team is stronger together than apart. That has always been the case, and yeah, breaking them apart would make a difference. But that won’t happen. Right? Billy won’t stay in Aquitar yet. Right?
