Power Rangers Zeo: Episode 9: Invasion of the Ranger Snatchers

Image
When Power Rangers Zeo last left off, a children’s show sidekick was turned into a monster that terrorized Angel Grove. It could mind-control children, turning them into zombies without the flesh eating, brain eating appetite. Adam and Tanya got a little training in, too. Everything wrapped up nicely, and the only thing that might carry over into later episodes is The Defender Wheel. Next up is an episode where the title alludes to possible body switching or evil Zeo Rangers. This is something that has come up in previous episodes, all the way back to season 1 of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers . The only way to know how this one turns out is to watch it, so now it’s time for… Episode 9: Invasion of the Ranger Snatchers A superhero movie was being filmed in Angel Grove. Rocky, Tanya, and Kat were extras. Bulk and Skull were security. The movie wasn’t going well. The star complained that one of the monsters he had to fight shouldn’t be able to block his punch because he was the star

Power Rangers Zeo: Episode 8: The Puppet Blaster

In the previous episode of Power Rangers Zeo , Kat trained a dog named Smokey to be a rescue dog for the Angel Grove Police. Smokey soon discovered that The Machine Empire were trying to create a lava flow that would run through Angel Grove and destroy the city. Kat saw it too but got trapped in the wilderness while trying to escape the Cogs and tell her friends about the danger. It was a fight for survival and the safety of Angel Grove. After what was the most self-contained episode of Power Rangers Zeo thus far, the show was hopefully going to turn to an episode with more character building or story building. It had been doing a good job of highlighting the characters and moving the story forward through the first six episodes. The seventh felt like an outlier. The only way to find out if the show would bounce back from an underwhelming episode was to watch… Episode 8: The Puppet Blaster As a way to give back to the community, Ernie brought a Children’s variety show to the Ange

Power Rangers Zeo: Episode 7: Every Dog Has His Day

Last time on Power Rangers Zeo , Tanya joined the Angel Grove High School baseball team. She was one of three Zeo Rangers on the team, the other two being Adam and Rocky. As they were preparing for an important game against Stone Canyon, The Machine Empire sent a batting machine monster down to terrorize them. The battle against the monster wasn’t Tanya’s only problem. She was having relationship problems because her boyfriend was embarrassed that she might be a better baseball player than him. Soon enough, the show will have to get back to an important story episode. The character episodes in the early part of the season were good. They were better than most of the character episodes in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers . But they were all relatively self-contained. Especially the last two. Maybe the story would get pushed forward in… Episode 7: Every Dog Has His Day Everyone was at the Angel Grove Youth Centre waiting for Kat. She came in with a new member of the Angel Grove Police

First Time Watches: July 2019

First time watches are a special thing. You rarely know exactly how you’ll feel watching a movie. You go in with expectations, and the movie either exceeds them or doesn’t even hit them. There isn’t usually a time when the movie ends up being exactly what you expect, and you like it exactly the amount that you expected. Upon multiple watches, sure, the watch is likely to hit you exactly as you thought it would. But not on a first time watch. That’s why I like to single out the first time watches from everything else that I check out in each month. They have a more unique feel than watching something like Paul Blart: Mall Cop for the twelfth time. I write these posts as a way to single out the first time watches. I used to think I would go back to the posts, but I never do. I don’t even know if people read them or like them. I just put them up and I’m done with them. This post will be covering July 2019. I know, that’s a long time ago. But I fell behind at one point and vowed to cat
